Job Overview
We are seeking an Area Account Sales Manager for our global client operating in the industrial machinery and production technologies sector.
We are looking for a strong sales professional with experience working in machine manufacturing companies, who is familiar with factory visits, project-based sales cycles, and coordination with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage sales strategies within the assigned region
Manage end-to-end sales processes for machinery sold to factories, production plants, and industrial facilities
Maintain and grow the existing customer portfolio; identify and develop new market opportunities
Take an active role in preparing offers, pricing, contract processes, and project management
Coordinate closely with technical teams, service departments, and the global headquarters
Prepare regular sales reports and present results to management
Represent the company at fairs, industry events, and customer meetings
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in companies that manufacture industrial machinery
Preferably experienced in woodworking machinery, CNC machines, or industrial production lines
Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)
German is a strong plus (nice to have)
Solid understanding of project-based sales, solution selling, and long sales cycles
Ability to read technical documentation and provide basic technical guidance to customers
Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills
No restrictions on domestic or international travel
