IT Process & Audit Specialist

We are looking for an IT Process and Audit Specialist to take part in the German operations of a bank for which we provide consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for both internal and external IT audits
• Lead the development and enhancement of IT process frameworks
• Create and maintain audit-ready process documentation that aligns with regulatory requirements
• Ensure key IT processes are properly implemented and consistently followed in daily operations
• Track and coordinate corrective and preventive actions following audit outcomes
• Organize and prepare required documentation and evidence for audit engagements
• Work collaboratively with Infrastructure, Security, and Governance teams
• Promote process standardization, compliance, and discipline across the IT organization

Qualifications & Skills

• Hands-on experience in designing and operationalizing IT processes
• Solid knowledge of IT compliance and governance frameworks (such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001)
• Strong skills in process documentation and control traceability
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
• Previous experience in a banking or regulated IT setting
• Familiarity with ITSM/CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
• Basic technical understanding of IT infrastructure and security components (networks, servers, firewalls, access controls, backup systems)
• Exposure to audit cycles and control validation processes
