Private Label R&D Executive

We are currently seeking a “Private Label R&D Executive” on behalf of our business partner operating in the Cosmetics industry, for whom we provide consultancy services.

Job Description

• Evaluate briefs received from private label customers in terms of technical feasibility
• Develop new formulations in color cosmetics categories (foundation, lipstick, gloss, mascara, blush, eyeshadow, concealer, etc.)
• Revise existing formulations according to customer requirements
• Manage sample development and customer approval processes
• Plan and coordinate the scale-up process from laboratory scale to mass production in collaboration with production teams
• Conduct raw material selection, research alternative raw materials, and perform cost optimization
• Organize stability, performance, and compatibility testing processes
• Prepare technical files, product specifications, and ingredient lists
• Ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations (Turkey & EU)
• Participate in customer meetings together with the sales team and deliver technical presentations
• Follow up on timelines for private label projects and take proactive actions to accelerate processes
• Conduct research on trends, innovations, and new textures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Color Cosmetics R&D
• Strong knowledge of pigment technologies, wax systems, silicone-based structures, emulsions, and anhydrous systems
• Experience in production processes and scale-up
• Good command of cosmetic regulations, INCI nomenclature, and technical documentation
• Cost-conscious with the ability to optimize formulations
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• No restrictions for travel

• Private label müşterilerinden gelen brief’leri teknik fizibilite açısından değerlendirmek
• Renkli kozmetik kategorilerinde (fondöten, ruj, gloss, maskara, allık, far, kapatıcı vb.) yeni formülasyon geliştirmek
• Mevcut formülleri müşteri ihtiyacına göre revize etmek
• Numune geliştirme ve müşteri onay süreçlerini yönetmek
• Laboratuvar ölçeğinden seri üretime geçiş (scale-up) sürecini planlamak ve üretimle koordinasyonu sağlamak
• Hammadde seçimi, alternatif hammadde araştırması ve maliyet optimizasyonu yapmak
• Stabilite, performans ve uyumluluk test süreçlerini organize etmek
• Teknik dosya, ürün spesifikasyonu ve içerik listelerinin hazırlanmasını sağlamak
• Kozmetik mevzuatına (Türkiye & EU) uygunluğu kontrol etmek
• Satış ekibi ile birlikte müşteri toplantılarına katılmak, teknik sunum yapmak
• Private label projelerinde termin planını takip etmek ve süreçleri hızlandırıcı aksiyonlar almak
• Trend, inovasyon ve yeni tekstür araştırmaları yapmak

Aranılan Nitelikler

• Kimya, Kimya Mühendisliği veya ilgili bölümlerden mezun
• Renkli kozmetik AR-GE alanında minimum 6 yıl deneyim
• Pigment teknolojileri, wax sistemleri, silikon bazlı yapılar, emülsiyon ve anhidrous sistemlerde bilgi sahibi
• Üretim süreçleri ve scale-up konusunda tecrübeli
• Kozmetik mevzuatı, INCI içerik yazımı ve teknik dokümantasyona hakim
• Maliyet bilinci olan, formül optimizasyonu yapabilen
• Sözlü ve yazılı olarak akıcı İngilizceye sahip
• Seyahat engeli olmayan
